Architectural LED’s – The Good, the Bad and the Ugly




Solid State lighting has been called a disruptive technology. Does it live up to all of the expectations. What are the benefits and how to avoid the disasters. Architectural design applications will be shared to show how LED’s have performed over the last few years. The presentation will be followed with a period for the audience to share their experiences. So come and find out all you need to know about LED’s before they become replaced with the next generation of lighting.

The evening will also include an introduction about Walt Disney Imagineering and a tour of the studio.  This is an event not to be missed!

Chip Israel has been a lighting designer for over 20 years. In 1992, he founded Lighting Design Alliance, a full-service architectural lighting design firm, where he built a highly-select team of lighting-design professionals who now serve a variety of clients worldwide. As President, Chip works closely with the owner, the design team, and manufacturers to ensure lighting systems are fully integrated with the architectural design and enhance the designer’s concepts.


Cancellation Policy: Cancellations made at least one week prior to the event will be refunded, less a $10 cancellation and processing fee. No refunds for cancellations will be given after that time. No refunds shall be issued for no-shows. Registration may be transferred to another individual.” AIAPF reserves the right to cancel any event where the minimum number of pre-registration registrants is not met. If such a cancellation occurs, registrants will be notified and given the opportunity to select an alternate and comparable event to attend. In the event such an alternate and comparable class is not available, then the registration fees will be refunded as appropriate. Further, dates, times, classes, program subject matter, instructors, panelists and fees are subject to change, without notice, at any time at the sole and absolute discretion of AIAPF.
