This workshop will guide you through key steps to begin your firm’s continuity plan, also known as an “Emergency Response & Resiliency Plan” – a responsible step in the right direction to leadership with a piece of mind.

As a leader, manager, or member of an organization, it's reasonable that a sudden natural or man-made disaster event would lead to scrambling. It’s common that the team’s initial response is to rush around and put short-term measures in place, a sort of band-aid. However this solution is not responsible; it does not arm you with information about your team’s whereabouts or easy process to get in contact them to ensure their safety, how to access servers and bounce back quickly from such stressors to continue generating revenue, nor an idea of how to go about assessing the damage.

The best time to prepare ahead is now, when there is no crisis.

If your firm does not have a continuity plan in place, or if you have tried to begin a plan and not know where to begin, what information to collect, assemble, and communicated to your company, then this is the perfect workshop to get you up and running in the right, responsible direction.

Learning Objectives:

1. Importance of preparing for an emergency.

2. Short term emergency response and long range resiliency planning.

3. Where to begin, information to collect and assemble.

4. Communication of the response plan guidelines within the company.
