AIA Conference on Architecture 2018
Javits Center, New York City
June 21-23, 2018

Get ready for three immersive days of what’s new and now in architecture and design, hosted in one of the most iconic cities in the world.

Over three days, we’ll explore a theme that resonates with us all: Blueprint for Better Cities.

At A’18, some of the most creative architects, designers and firms will share how they’re creating their own Blueprint for Better to make a difference in cities of every size all over the world, from London, Arkansas, to London, England.

You’ll leave New York with actionable insights you can use on your next project or to make a difference in your community on topics including diversity, equity, and inclusion; materials; energy and carbon; resilience; and design and health.

Convention registration is open on the AIA National website. Everyone can save with early bird and advance registration rates. Plus:

   - New AIA members get FREE registration
   - Young professionals save 30% (combine with early rates for biggest savings)
   - Students register for $25

The National Conference is also the annual occasion for electing National Officers of the Institute by vote of delegates that represent AIA Chapters in the US and worldwide. The Pasadena & Foothill Chapter is allotted up to 19 delegates based on total of 288 members who may cast votes for officers of the National AIA for the coming year.

Qualifying and Voting
Each delegate must personally present one, signed delegate card to the staff at the accreditation desk during specified hours to become accredited and vote. Delegates must bring the delegate cards to convention and present them at the accreditation desk in order to be accredited and vote.

Delegate cards will be distributed prior to the convention.

Anyone interested in attending the Convention in person and serving as a delegate should notify Carol Lanham, Chapter President or Andrea Cabalo, Chapter Secretary, before end of business on Friday, June 15 and obtain an authorization card signed by either the President or Secretary. Please call the Chapter office at 626.796.7601 or email director@aiapf.org for additional information.

Note that votes are lost (not cast) if a delegate accredits but does not vote.
Delegates to the AIA Conference on Architecture 2018 will be able to vote for national officer candidates and candidates for at-large Directors.
