RECAP ON ARE 5.0 Info Session Event

AIA Pasadena & Foothill’s Emerging Professionals started the year off with an Info Session for the ARE 5.0 Study Group on January 29, 2022. Rachel Adams, AIA, from Architecture for Education Inc/s (A4E) and Tony Lopez, AIA, from NewStudio Architecture presented their tips and tricks on how they passed their ARE Exams. They provided rigorous, but realistic study schedules, time management and organizational skills in preparing to study the exams.

During the event, surveys were done in order to understand what emerging professionals would like the chapter to support them in their journey to become a licensed architect. The chapter now has a Discord account that is open to members. Consider joining to get updated information and resources from the study group. Here is the link: https://discord.gg/X3TMkrPVmT

Our President, Winston Thorne, AIA, presented a brief synopsis of the Chapter and the benefits of becoming a member.  One of AIAPF’s objectives is to make as many resources available for emerging professionals. If you or someone you know may have some ideas, please have them reach out to our Director of Emerging Professionals, Genevieve Enriquez. Soon, there will be firm tours along with seminars related to the ARE Exams. Keep an eye out for announcements for these events.
