Your Student Ambassador: Kevin Juarez-MartinezCurrently a student at Cal Poly Pomona, Kevin stepped up last year to connect more students with chapter activities, getting them involved with architects in the working world. Starting at Citrus College, Kevin earned AS degrees in Architecture and Design and Engineering Drawing Technology. Building on this foundation, he transferred to California Polytechnic University, Pomona, and is currently pursuing a Bachelor's degree in Architecture. Working at Le Architecture as a Junior Designer has provided invaluable hands-on experience and insight into the architecture industry. Entering the AIAPF Birdhouse Competition, he joined with fellow students and won! As Kevin says, "I was inspired to engage further with the chapter, leading me to attend their tours. These events provided the opportunity to connect with remarkable architects, engineers, and industry leaders, broadening my professional network and deepening my understanding of the field. |
