   Gala and Board of Directors Installation

Join us for an evening celebrating outstanding design. Come cheer on your fellow members and colleagues as the chapter recognizes them for their work! You will also bid farewell to the 2018 Board of Directors and welcome the 2019 team.

This year the party will take place at the Villa del Sol d'Oro in Sierra Madre. It's a grand historic space and new venue for our party!

The Villa is on the grounds of the Alverno Heights Academy. Guests may be dropped off at the entrance of the Villa before proceeding to the parking lot. There is ample parking.

Benjamin Kasdan, AIA, LEED AP, NCARB

Benjamin Kasdan is a Director, Design at KTGY Architecture+Planning. He has been involved in the design and planning of a wide variety of real estate projects located throughout California, the East Coast and internationally for more than a decade. Mr. Kasdan’s primary focus is the sustainable design of multifamily, mixed-use, and urban-infill housing developments. His experience includes affordable housing, market-rate apartments and condominiums, townhomes, student housing and commercial buildings.

He is a frequent speaker and contributor of articles and blog posts on topics related to sustainable architecture, student housing, and multifamily housing to periodicals such as Professional Builder Magazine, Green Home Builder Magazine, and Builder & Developer Magazine. He has also been a guest architectural design critic at Cal Poly San Luis Obispo and Orange Coast College.

Mr. Kasdan has held leadership positions with the American Institute of Architecture Students (AIAS) at Cal Poly San Luis Obispo, AIA Orange County, AIA California Council and AIA National. He is currently an NCARB Architect Licensing Advisor for KTGY, the Vice President of the Academy for Emerging Professionals (AEP) on the AIA California Council (AIACC), an Architect Experience Program (AxP) (formerly IDP) mentor/supervisor, and is a licensed architect in California, Oregon and Washington, DC.





Cancellation Policy: Cancellations made at least one week prior to the event will be refunded, less a $10 cancellation and processing fee. No refunds for cancellations will be given after that time. No refunds shall be issued for no-shows. Registration may be transferred to another individual.” AIAPF reserves the right to cancel any event where the minimum number of pre-registration registrants is not met. If such a cancellation occurs, registrants will be notified and given the opportunity to select an alternate and comparable event to attend. In the event such an alternate and comparable class is not available, then the registration fees will be refunded as appropriate. Further, dates, times, classes, program subject matter, instructors, panelists and fees are subject to change, without notice, at any time at the sole and absolute discretion of AIAPF.
