Mission StatementAIA Pasadena & FoothillWHO:The Pasadena & Foothill Chapter of the American Institute of Architects (AIAPF) is made up of 400+ architects and associates who live and/or work in the Foothill region. WHAT:The AIA is the VOICE of the architectural profession and the RESOURCE for its members in service to society. WHY:Since 1857, the AIA has represented the professional interests of America's architects. As AIA members, over 95,000 licensed architects, emerging professionals, and allied partners express their commitment to excellence in design and livability in our nation's buildings and communities. Members adhere to a code of ethics and professional conduct that assures the client, the public, and colleagues of an AIA-member architect's dedication to the highest standards in professional practice. The AIAPF mission of the Pasadena & Foothill Chapter of the American Institute of Architects (AIA) is to serve its members and the profession by cultivating ideas, fostering leaders and preserving the rich legacy of architecture that is unique to its expansive foothill region. The AIAPF Board serves through the following guiding principles: Transparency: Acting with integrity and clarity of purpose in our communications to our members, community and professions, and the management of our resources. Community: Providing platforms that explore our rich history and promote the exchange of diverse perspectives and ideas.
